Full-text searching is one of the most powerful tools of Pennsylvania Legislative Services. Searches can be single word, Boolean AND and OR, proximity, BUT NOT or complex combinations. PLS searches show everywhere the word(s) appear and highlights them, shows you the page and line you can find them on, links you directly to that version of the bill and also to the author. Searches can be defined by date, bill type, and bill version parameters. Text searches include all versions of the bill.
